Sister Act is a feel-good, Tony-nominated musical comedy based on the hit 1992 film and set to an original score by Oscar-winner Alan Menken. When disco diva Deloris Van Cartier witnesses a murder, she goes under cover in the last place anyone would look for her: a strict convent. Though she initially clashes with the rigid lifestyle and uptight Mother Superior, Deloris uses her vocal talent and signature moves to transform the convent's choir, breathing vibrant new life into the entire community. When her sudden fame blows her cover and brings the gang straight to her door, her newly formed sisterhood rallies together to protect her. Packed with powerful gospel numbers and heartwarming humor, this sparkling production is an uplifting tribute to the universal power of friendship.
